First time at the Chalkboard and it was good. I would recommend it. The menu changes as I understand it, but the menu this trip was well developed and encompassed several items that looked to be interesting. I chose the Chalkboard Wellington which was well prepared. My spouse chose the filet which came out under cooked, but they immediately corrected that in a very timely manner. My only critique would be that it's a... View all feedback.
What Zachary Herman doesn't like about The Chalkboard:
I think eating is a lot overpriced. the quality of eating and ambientes was excellent. the waiter has provided excellent services. I left the restaurant hungry, will probably return only for special occasions. View all feedback.
I wanted somewhere delicious, romantic and downtown. Everyone talks about chalkboard, but I didn't believe it until I made some reservations and went down. The building is absolutely enchanting and the live music was a wonderful atmosphere. The cocktails are good value and lots of boozy. But the highlights were every piece of food I could enjoy and the great staff. Everyone was attentive and as fast as the chemistry of cooking would allow. Our server was knowledgeable and friendly. The food was absolutely next level. Beautiful coating, local source and seasonal matching offers. The baked bride threw me away, and I enjoyed every bite of the duck breast. If you are looking for a wonderful way to spend a special evening, Chalkboard is the place.
Amazing ambiance and impeccable service! The food and drinks were incredible as well. Highly recommend you try a classic Old Fashioned and the Beef Wellington. Truly a dining experience to remember.
Sunday brunch in downtown Tulsa. The location is small with about 10 tables inside and limited outdoor seating and a complete service bar with about 6 seats. Low light ambience and limited capacity make for a great date night idea crowd for brunch is an older church quantity. The service was fast. Today we have eggs Benedict with shredded short ribs and roasted potatoes. It is rare to find a place in Tulsa that can prepare and serve a real Eggs Benedict. The dish itself is simple, but requires skill prepares the sauce and fried eggs. It is not a dish where you can only throw ingredients on the grill or in a deep frit. The chalkboard does an excellent job. Eggs are perfectly posing. Sauce was creamy with the right tangent. The beef short rib was very delicate and wonderfully spiced, but I guess I would rather have the Canadian bacon. What can I say, but I'm a traditionalist with these classic dishes.
Lamb Lollipops, Scallops, Beef Wellington are great. Environment is cozy. Service and waiting staff are great. I recommend
Delicious. I couldn't get too fast food photos. We made reservations on Sunday morning for Sunday morning and no problem getting a 5 top! We had pancakes (which I W was not allowed a bite) bread pudding was fabulous, but more like French toast, breakfast tacos were perfect, a yogurt parfait,, Avacado bowl was brought by a teen it is actually a salad, but not tell him, and eggs Benedict. Encryption was perfect! Or server was great, personal and funny. We sat down in the basement, thought the teenagers, it was very cool and adult!
