Was Cơ Phùng at Taco Bueno a mag?
Overall I like this boheno, but today I went in and an evil, but old familiar smell hit me in the nostrils. As my order was ready, I realized it was the most indispensable smell of a restaurant fat trap that was recently exposed. Maybe they cleaned the fat traps today? Man, the lobby was stinky, though... What Kellen Krajcik dislikes about Taco Bueno:
Been here a few times but this just did it for me...yes I should've looked before leaving BUT I had a crying baby so the baby wins. Its a to go order than wasn't boxed correctly nor was it what I ordered. The rest of the food the beef Machaco crispy taco were good.I was holding this in my lap the ride home so at no point did this tip over in my hands. Rude employee. on 02/28/14 the propulsion thru writer was rude to me and the leader/manager type did nothing to stop him. I often visited, but not anymore!

Overall much better than the one in Stillwater! We had to get our bueno fix while here as the one in our town is disappointing most of the time. We each ordered a Wholotta Platter, to get a sampling of everything we love, she got chicken and I got beef. The only things that were disappointing were the taco and dip shells, they had not been heated to make them crispy. It tasted like they just grabbed them out of the storage container and used them. When I worked here a long, long time ago we used to fry corn tortillas on a special rack that kept their shape and store them in the metal bins and heat them up a container at a time under the heat lamps for use to crisp them up again which was what gave them that awesome crunch. Idk if they still make them that way or not as its been a long time. Other than that everything was really good, they still use the 3oz containers for the regular queso here which tells me that our local bueno is in fact cheating the customers as they have been using the salsa sized 2oz containers for the queso for the past year and only half filling them! I will definitely be sending in a complaint now that I know we were straight up lied to when we have asked about it and everyone that eats at the one in Stillwater is getting ripped off on that as well as a few other things, like the chicken muchaco not having beans, only the beef, and the mexi dips and chips only getting one scoop of guacamole and not 2, if they even make the guacamole. Often they just scoop out of the plastic avocado container it comes in and don't mix it up with the mayo and seasoning leaving it very bland and disappointing. This location made everything correctly with the one exception of the taco shells and the dip shells not being crispy/crunchy which could have been just because they hadn't been under the heat lamp long enough and they forgot the cheese on our refried beans, I asked for no chili sauce on anything, but we still wanted the shredded cheese on the beans and the guacamole was starting to turn black but it still tasted fine, they just need to remember to press that plastic wrap directly onto the guac to keep the air out in between uses so that it keeps its color. We did get a nice full scoop of it and a decent amount of sour cream on our platters though. Overall we would definitely eat here again.
