This restaurant is conveniently located in the Woodland Hills mall. The prices are reasonable and the food is delicious. Our server was friendly and even let me taste a bit of the chicken curry, which was incredibly tender and flavorful. Ruby Thai is a decent asian takeout restaurant in Woodland hills mall. Recently they increased their prices but otherwise they have some decent food. They have some variety spicy entrees...2 combo costs 10.99 where it was 8.99 few months back. Flavor is just ok. Four seniors traveling Route 66 stopped for supper as it was within walking distance from our hotel. Three of us got the pulled pork sandwich with fries and added the salad bar, one got the pork nachos. All we’re very good. The salad bar was the height of the evening. A great variety of everything on it.
I stopped in twice, so the second time was on me. I should have known. They served red wine that was hot and completely spoiled. So they offered to bring me a beer that finally arrived after dinner was completely finished. Dinner was mediocre at best. The salad bar was depleted of over half the items. Then tonight, I waited an hour and 15 minutes for a simple dinner that never arrived. Last but not least, they charged me for an all you can eat salad bar, instead of just the side salad.
