Our server really needs to be trained better. I understand it was Christmas day and later in the day, but you have to check on your customers way more than he did. I asked for things twice. And I finally had to get it myself. I'm a great tipper when I get great service. But when you are just there To take the order and bring them the food without checking on us. You're not gonna get a great tip. I'm sorry.
Did take out for Christmas dinner. Thank you for being open to those who prefer to go out to eat for Christmas!
I truly had a wonderful meal I dined alone and was seated immediately but larger groups like most popular restaurants will have a small wait at peak hours . I have a few pics of my meal and the waitress made sure everyone in her area stayed satisfied with drinks and other refills like scampi soup and their famous biscuits . I had a 7oz Steak ,Caesar salad, shrimp and fries
We had dinner this evening with a group of 10 and the food and service were 5 star, hands down. We had avoided Red Lobster after a disappointing dinner post covid but knew it was an unfortunate result of getting good help back on board. Everyone at our table loved their food and we could not have been happier with our server. I had the New Orleans salmon with broccoli, excellent. The salmon was cooked perfectly and the shrimp in the sauce was soooo good! My husband had the stuffed flounder. He’s often pretty critical of food but loved it all. Red Lobster is back on our favorites rotation, can’t wait to go back!!!!
September 2023, We were here for a business lunch. Menu was limited for us to sirloin, salmon or chicken and we both chose steak. It was tough and dry, though the color looked about right for medium. Good tea, good broccoli good service. We really appreciate that RL has stevia for a sweetener. The meeting room thermostat was set at 69 but never got above 67, on a moderate temperature day in September. Main dining room was much more comfortable. ADDED December, ordered from main menu on New Year's Eve. Paid $16.99 for crunch fried flounder and a small baked potato, subbed side salad for broccoli and paid extra $1.99. We had not been regular customers since the pandemic and really missed the old menu wanted fire grilled tilapia and green beans. They gave us 4 pieces of fish and neither of us could eat but half. No practical way to eat here if you're trying to eat keto, vegetarian, vegan or gluten free. Service was great. Restaurant was comfortable, although banging front door and heavily stained carpet suggests they may be failing.
