Neither my wife's or my food was cooked correctly. My grilled shrimp wasn't grilled at all and it was like chewing rubber. My wife's taco meat was overcooked and tasted awful. One star for the Spanish fries and fried green beans. They were good.
If you 've got the pallette of a toddler, then this place is for you. It 's not worth $25 a person to eat off brand Kraft Mac n Cheese, or funky tasting rice, it was rancid. Also ordered the Burger Steak which they kept referring to outright as steak,it 's not. It 's supposed to be a bacon wrapped burger topped with cheese. Mine had no bacon anywhere. And that toast will suckall the moisture from your mouth. My first impression when we looked at the menu was that they seemed confused as to what kindof restaurant they were. In my experience, trying to serve as many kinds of cuisines as you can means you get none of themright. And that is the case again. Our second and last time here. Should have gone to the sketchy taco place in the back alley afew blocks away.
This place is literally the most amazing place! The atmosphere is awesome. Chris and Tasha are amazing and so are the rest of the staff. I?ve been coming in here since I was little and it will forever be a hang out spot for my family and I. The food istop notch as well!!!
Honestly, I knew from the inch of dust on the lamp shade above the table and the puddle of who knows what under the table it wasn't going to be spectacular. But I definitely wasn't expecting ROTTEN FOOD. I ordered the chicken chimichanga and the chickenwas totally RANCID. How it made it out of the kitchen is beyond me. The stench of AMMONIA from ROTTEN CHICKEN was so pungent itstung the nostrils.
The white queso is not like other Mexican restaurants, it tasted rancid, I've never sent something back before but it was bad. The chicken tortilla soup was okay but was more like a creamy poblano soup. The chicken quesadilla was good but not worth $15.The hostess wasn't friendly at all but our server who I believe was also the bartender had a great attitude and clearly workedhard but had a lot going on. They are definitely understaffed like most.
