The meat was juicy and has that tell-tale red ring that only a wood fired smoker gives. This is legitimate BBQ. I ordered a 2 meat 2 rib dinner which came with 2 sides. Good thin sliced brisket, a leg thigh quarter, two falling of the bone ribs, Texas toast, fried mac n cheese, and fried corn-$13.25 Pro: not served with sauce Con: a nibble of onion dill pickle would be welcome. I had the lemon pepper fish dinner. Great flavor, ample portion and meaty fillets. The were good as well but the fish was awesome!
I went and one ordered of everything! The rub is outstanding, the catfish was cooked perfect and the chicken was great. The staff is the best....talked to Monty and his son the are so friendly. Only thing they need is cornbread!!!! And maybe kool-aid!!!! Damn I'm gettin hungry just talking about it.
Stopped by yesterday and the place was nice and clean and the super friendly staff was very helpfull. I got my orders to go and had the chopped beef/polish/hot link with okra and baked beans. It was delicious! I even got another 3 meat combo and a potato and some pie to drop off to my parents which also said was very good.
Had a chopped brisket potato for a quick lunch. It was very good. Definitely recommend it and will be back again.
The staff very was very friendly, funny and helpful. The food was absolutely amazing. Probably the best BBQ I have ever had.
