Freddies Hamburgers - Tulsa
Freddies Hamburgers
Description
Tucked away with a nostalgic diner vibe, this restaurant offers a mixed experience. Fans praise its fresh, juicy char-burgers, homemade sides, and extensive milkshake selection, evoking classic Route 66 charm. The kid-friendly atmosphere and attentive staff add to its appeal. However, some diners report inconsistent seasoning, soggy fries, slow service, and occasional unfriendly interactions. A few found the prices steep for average quality. While beloved by many as a local gem, potential visitors should manage expectations and prepare for a spirited, old-school setting with both highlights and hiccups.

From the outside appearance, you may be inclined to pass on this place, but that would be a big mistake. The inside is a throwback to an old diner, and I always enjoy that. No matter how you feel about the appearance, the food will win you over! Their char-burger is the best in Tulsa, and their sides are always hot fresh. Plus, they have an extensive selection of malts shakes that are delicious as well.
They are always friendly and the food is fresh. The cheeseburger and small fries are good.
The restaurant was a bit chaotic during lunch, as expected. When I placed my order over the phone, I was told it would take about 8-10 minutes. However, I arrived after 15-20 minutes and then had to wait at least another 20 minutes. My chili fries and burger were tasty, but unfortunately, they were soggy.
