What Hunter L doesn't like about Fassler Hall:
Staff is horrible when dealing with bathroom. Otherwise good. They will not allow you to check on friends or anyone in bathrooms. GF passed out in stall and they kicked me out after waiting 30min on her. Insane response View all feedback.
Went in for the passport app promo for a $5 schnitzel sando. We couldn’t get the promo to appear in the app we just downloaded and the gentleman behind the bar had 0 interest in assisting us. I’d understand if they were slammed, but it was pretty empty and they looked fully staffed. I finally had to ask the guy if there was someone who knew more and he begrudgingly asked a coworker who resolved the issue in like 5 seconds. I’m a simple guy. I see $5 sando, I want $5 sando. Don’t make me feel like I need to Karen about it. Fries were sooooo goood. Pork schnitzel sandwich was alight. Highly recommend the chicken.
Average Was not impressed by the experience. You have to go and order the food at the counter and wait at the table. I ordered the Chicken Schnitzel which is basically a chicken sandwich. The chicken patty was stiff and hard. Duck fries were good. The flavor of the sandwich was not that good. The only impressive thing is that they have lot of hot sauces. Overall, it was just average
This seemed like a vibrant, local establishment, but it was disappointing as a German beer hall and restaurant. There were only 5 German beers on tap, all of which were pretty typical and without much variety. There were a few German beers in cans/bottles, but again of a rather typical options. There were at least twice as many domestic brews available, which seems an inappropriate ratio for a German beer hall. When ordering, we indicated we'd share a bottle, asked for glasses, and were handed only one. They also do not accept touchless payment. We shared two pretzels, which were warm but mediocre. The music was incredibly loud and American in variety. They were, however, playing the Copa América, which was a welcome reprieve to typical sports bar entertainment, and the bouncer was incredibly kind.
We were looking for breakfast something light to eat and we found this place. Among their food options we chose sandwiches and tacos with delicious homemade chorizo! We ordered mimosas with different juice options (orange juice, cranberries, raspberry, etc. The full bottle is cheaper. Very warm attention from one of the people who brought the food to our table. Pet friendly . You order at the bar. Price per person 250 mxn approx. I will return without a doubt
During the day, the bar offers good drinks, food and a good atmosphere. However, in the evening, the bar service is another story. The last time I had visited Fassler, the owner of the bar became overly aggressive towards me at the entrance of the place As I literally walked in, the owner had a receipt in her hand that read $24.02 she immediately accused me of purposely walking on an unpaid tab. – I did not open any tab once that night listed on her receipt Nobody has proof I opened a tab that night. I can only ration, the bartender mistakenly assigned my friends tab… to me. I previously attempted to pay for my friends drinks with my cash app card …but the bartender alerted me, due to previous issues with this card, we cannot start a tab to pay for these drinks. which he was right, my cash app card did have issues the previous week My friend immediately turnt around told the bartender, “these are my drinks, put it on my tab, its already open, he said his name, the bartender immediately accepted, served him his drinks ” I could see the owner was monitoring this bartenders actions while the situation occurred, but it was too loud to hear …so I can only guess this is where her “Recognition confusion” arose. To continue the story….. I can only ration, my friend's tab must have went unpaid that night, …. therefore, the male bartender shifted the blame to me for running on the tab……Instead of saying, he assigned that tab to my friend i forgot to charge his tab …or he did not pay….etc…. Back to the night of my situation….. Feeling threatened by her and the security, due to their aggressive nature… I immediately paid the $24 tab mistakenly assigned to me …and then ...surprisingly… I was informed by the owner ….that I was permanently banned. I immediately asked the owner, ….why would I be banned? she accused me of opening tabs in the week prior not paying them However, thankfully one of her other bartenders immediately acknowledged the previous errors with my cash app card randomly declining at $38 dollars worth of tabs.. He confirmed to her, those tabs were all paid for and up to date. I also had receipts on my Cash App app to verify payments for these past tabs Despite this, I was immediately threatened by security and aggressively escorted out, causing me bad anxiety. The aggression by the owner, the threat by security all the screaming in front of my close friends was unprofessional beyond excessive. Three weeks prior, I HELD back a Fassler Hall security guard from beating up a kicked out patron in the line who i didn't know I got in the way of security the patron …since the security slammed the patron onto a white corvette parked out front of Fassler…. without the patron once throwing a punch. this was In front of many people in line. ….now, that patron was very intoxicated i have love for that individual security guard but that response with excessive force has become the new normal for most of the staff Excessive force never happens at Tulsan. or any near by bar. This review is important because it's a microcosm of the “new fassler.” This situation occurred around a month ago I finally have time to fully detail both sides of the situation, so this feedback can be viewed with complete fairness. I don't want remittance I want just fair treatment across the board for all people. Fassler is important to our community even as a privately owned business, fairness a core tenant of the Tulsa Community.
