Was Mark T at Burn Co Barbeque a mag?
The place was recommended and glad it was as it was absolutely delicious. I came close to closing and they were sold out of many things, but haf the Refugee plate (what's essentially left), oh, that was a pile of great meat, mostly susage and it was great View all feedback.
What Clementine O'Kon dislikes about Burn Co Barbeque:
The allure of this joint becomes tarnished when on multiple occasions they back out of catering arrangements to pursue a more lucrative agreement with someone else. I've also prepaid for staff luncheons and upon arrival been told they sold my food to someone else. Their frustration at my request for a return of my money was also very unsettling. Hey Burn - don't bite the hand that feeds! View all feedback.
If you’ve ever had good BBQ before, this isn’t it. I was at the cash register 30 minutes after opening and they were out of ribs! Really…..they were going to be open for several more hours and 30 minutes in they’re out of ribs. Extremely poor planning. Well they had brisket but it was chopped up like fine sawdust, and was about as moist. Of course that’s what happens when you pulverize brisket. They make some of the sausages; I had the jalapeño cheese. It was flavorful but I think it was steamed, no smoke ring, no smoke, and a little underdone. The cashier recommended a “fatty”; a Burnco made polish sausage packed in a casing of ground bologna, wrapped in bacon, I think... It was so loud in there I couldn’t really hear and understand the cashier. The grilled potato salad was very greasy, there was grease standing on it in the cup. The cole slaw was very good. I live in Austin Texas where you can’t throw a rock without hitting an incredible BBQ joint and 20 minutes from the BBQ Capital of Texas, Lockhart. I was very disappointed. I should have known better after watching their video. The lady at Hey Mambo warned me, I should have listened. All the food was cold.

We have been several times and the food never disappoints. It's my favorite BBQ in a state of great BBQ restaurants. The only gripe I have is I wish they stayed open longer hours and you didn't have to get there so early to get in line. If you don't live locally you almost have to plan a day to eat BBQ there due to the hours.
Good experience. Read a lot of good things about this BBQ joint. My party ordered the Frankenstein, sliced Brisket, Grilled Potato Salad, bratwurst and inferno hot link. The Frankenstein was interesting and was like a pork meatloaf. Everything tastedgreat, but I think my only complaint was the brisket was a little dry. Lacked a smokey flavor that I've become so accustomed toassociate with brisket The standout was the inferno links. I was very surprised how good those were and actually ordered acouple more to take home.
Wow, wow, WOW!! This place is delicious! ???????? Just thinking about it makes me crave it even more! The Chopped Brisket, Burgers, Polish Sausage, Chicken Drumsticks, Mac Cheese, etc! Literally everything I?ve eaten here is 5/5 stars! Can?texaggerate at allll. Go check them out!
