Incredible meal. Our party had several appetizers and shared meals, including their massive steak on the bone (forget what its called). Besides the steak sauces, this was one of the best meals I've had in Tulsa. Amelia herself served our table at times and she is wonderful, and the wait staff was superb. View all feedback.
What Hester Mayer doesn't like about Amelia's Wood Fired Cuisine:
We were offered outdoor seating since indoor was full. It took quite a lot of time before someone attended to take orders. It took them another while before they realized the drink ordered from their menu was not available. Food was average. I ordered a Romaine Salad and Pasta Primavera. Salad was a bit pungent or sour for my taste and pasta needed a bit more seasoning. Finally on the bill they made mistakes twice an... View all feedback.
Food, drinks and customer service were fantastic! I recommend the octopus for appetizer. I hesitate most of the time when it comes to ordering and eating them because there are several instances that the octopus I preordered was chew, but the Amelia octopus was not at all and with every bite, it melts in your mouth and it was delicious. The place was very clean and organized.
An awesome place . A bit pricey but for the quality of food I say who cares. If you want brownie point with the wife or gf take them here . Taylor is a great bartender. If you come in remember to get him as your bartender

Visually beautiful restaurant with Spanish inspired details. Sitting near the kitchen is fun research to find out what you want to order. Food is Southern American blended with Spanish and Italian techniques and ingredients. Baked green tomatoes are a pass, the corn soup was delicious, the fish was acceptable, although the presentation was not visually appealing (as VeggieTales exploded on my plate). American cuisine has no history or memory only mentors and inspirations.
We made a Saturday evening reservation in the cook counter. The kitchen team is professional and works fast. It was fun to cook them while we ate. The waiting staff is great, our drinks including water have been kept full. We started with the wood fired empanadas that were very tasty. I ordered the Chilean Lake Bass, which was perfectly cooked with great flavors. My wife ordered the venison sausages ricotta ravioli. Pasta was perfectly cooked and very well tasted. Amelia is on our need to go back to the list as there are many more dishes we want to try.
