These guys completely nailed the ribs, brisket, and sausage. I have eaten at scores of barbecue places around the world and this was top-five for me for sure. Nice job gentlemen. If you don’t have it already, you’re going to need a much bigger place. View all feedback.
What Nicki Bonds doesn't like about 1907 Barbecue:
Will not return the woman working today at lunch was so rude to me and the customer in front of me. She had MAJOR attitude. The customer in front of me asked her for a fork and she snapped at him that forks weren't her responsibility, that he needed to ask the MRM crew. While that may be true, the way she said it was really rude like she was irritated that he was asking for help. Food wise: the brisket was just OK. S... View all feedback.
Brisket, pulled pork, burger, chicken, mac cheese, grits, everything here is top notch so you can’t go wrong.
Food was delicious. Brisket was some of the best I have had. Service was great. We will be back again.
First of all I applaud any bbq business for the effort and time they put in. The barbecue is good but lacks much flavor. Oakhart and Luke’s BBQ has a lot more flavor great barbecue in my opinion. Burn Co is pretty good as well. You don’t get much at 1907 BBQ for $23. 2 ribs and a scoop of chopped brisket. (Compare that to a whole rack of ribs for $28-30 somewhere else. Mac was dry (don’t judge, I bought it for my kid lol I really am not that picky but the Mac wasn’t worth eating and he wouldn’t touch it. Potato salad tasted like it came from Walmart out of a bucket. I really don’t get the positive reviews here. But maybe I just hit 1907 on a not so great day and that happens. Just to be clear, this wasn’t bad barbecue, just not anything exceptional worth driving out of the way for. And barbecue is highly subjective so just take it as one opinion.Update: I went there twice and it just was not good either time. I mean, not a flavor preference, it just wasn't fully cooked yet either time so it was tough.
Brisket was some of the best I've had. Juicy, tender and
I know Texas has the best moist brisket, but 1907 is damn close.
