Food is always great but haven't got correct order the last two times. Got completely different dish last week and they forgot the chicken out of a chicken and beef curry this evening after asking the lady if there was chicken and beef included on numerous occasions. The folks running this café/shop-with-a- conscience neighbourhood place know how to cook. They use well-sourced, often local ingredients and treat them with respect and skill. They strive to make a positive social impact, and not just superficially, either; for instance, they collaborate with the Dublin Hygiene Bank, helping to collect hygiene articles and distribute them among people who might not be able to afford them otherwise. The cafe is located in a nice quiet side street and looks epic from the outside. Both the meat and vegetarian dishes we have tried were very, very tasty, and the rocky road... rocked.
I love this place. The staff is very friendly, the coffee is top-notch, and the homecooked food is delicious.
