I have it open and straight on the teller. many chickens in my green curry. chips were cooked for perfection. good amounts of food. very favorable for the quality of food. will use this restaurant in the near future. What User doesn't like about Oriental New Star:
I placed my order on Saturday, 9/10/2021 at 7:50pm, and was told it would take 15 minutes. However, it ended up taking about an hour to receive my order. When I got home, I discovered that 2 of the items were wrong. I felt sorry for the girl working on orders, as she had to deal with customers demanding refunds every 10 minutes. Needs an online menu for ordering delivery. Seems silly to not have one these days since most people pay with card
Nice food, not the best Chinese food iv tasted. The girl serving the table was brilliant. But since COVID I find Chinese restaurants now their staff nor themselves don't wear uniforms or dress up as waiters. The Chinese people in this restaurant actually were serving the tables with their outdoor coats on and grubby jeans. Not a pleasant experience been honest. Basic is all I can really say. Food was edible, nothing special about it at all deep-fried generic bland appetisers. Mains were OK but again, just basic. The main issue was the price, which was extremely overpriced for the quality of the food and portion sizes. Service was Reay good and staff were all very nice and helpful. There was another very big party on when we were in the restaurant so possible they were just under pressure with the amount of orders
