Bobby was an outstanding server; it seemed like he was the only one actively working. He assisted us with the cash machine at our table and delivered exactly what we ordered, which is important since we can be particular. He was friendly and had a great sense of humor. The only downside was the long wait to be seated, despite there being only about five families in the restaurant. View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about Red Lobster:
The food was quite good, but the service left much to be desired. We waited far too long considering the number of diners and staff moving around the restaurant. The salmon was well-cooked, and the manager made an effort to ensure we were satisfied, which was appreciated. My only critique is that the staff was not on top of their game during the lunch hours, as we sat waiting for a reasonable amount of time before re... View all feedback.
I visited on a Friday night when it wasn't too crowded, and I was seated right away—definitely a win! Our server, Kit, was fantastic. Honestly, if you go to Red Lobster and skip the cheddar biscuits, did you even go? I could easily finish a whole basket by myself! It really takes some willpower to stop eating those. The food was surprisingly good this time around. Often, I don't go in with high expectations, but I left feeling pleasantly surprised. Everything we ordered was tasty! And don't overlook the Brussels sprouts; they are amazing!
When it was time to pay, the waitress charged my debit card two different amounts, totaling over $40, despite my bill only being about $12. I asked to speak to the manager, and she was rude as well, claiming there was nothing she could do before walking away while I was still talking. I then called their corporate office and explained what had happened. They sent me an email stating they value all their guests and team members, but unfortunately, they couldn't meet my expectations. Ultimately, they informed me that they would no longer serve me and suggested I find another restaurant. This feels like stealing to me! Not long after my experience, I saw a review from another couple who found roaches on the wall and received their dinner for free but complained that the manager was angry and never apologized. I certainly will never return and plan to leave reviews everywhere I can find. No one was available to assist me, the food was terrible, and the waitress and manager were even worse than the food! This restaurant used to be excellent, but it has declined lately. It seems that Bridgette may not be paying attention to the details anymore. The main issue is with the front desk staff, who are not very welcoming. Despite having many empty tables, customers are frequently asked to wait 15 minutes or more. The front desk appears to prioritize the wait staff over assisting customers. On a positive note, many of the waitstaff are quite skilled in their roles. It seems like a problem with middle management, and perhaps better selection and training of front desk personnel would help improve the situation.
Ordered the steak and lobster for 24.99, the steak was cooked as ordered but tough and was basically a round ball did not resemble a sirloin steak. The lobster was the size of a crawfish and was not cut correctly. I would not recommend this plate.
Ordered a long island iced tea and did not get that. Both the waiter and the manager argued with me about it being made right but it had no coke in it. Looked and tasted like a Lynchburg lemonade. Service was very pore.
