Tullah Cottage

Tullah is one of those tiny Tassie towns easy to miss whilst driving through on the way to somewhere else. The Tullah Cottage is even easier to miss. Make a point of stopping for it, though. The owner works out of the tiniest room to produce fabulous coffee and provide snacks for the weary west-coast traveller. It's barely even a cafe - there's a few tables and chairs outside, and a couple on the verandah, but you don't really sit down for a meal. It's just a terrific spot to stretch the legs and see how someone's passion can create a special little spot. If heading south towards Queenstown, its on the left on a rise, bright pink. Don't blink.

We were told about this place. "Look for the bright pink house when driving out of town". We weren't disappointed. The owner was so friendly and made great coffee. He told us about a few places to visit while in the area. The coffee was tasty, hot and made with class. There are snacks available too, like biscuits and cakes, cold drinks and snack food. We had take away but there's a place to sit and relax and take in the scenery. A must go to on your way to Cradle Mountain. Thanks for the experience.

I am very fussy about my coffee have had too many horrible ones while travelling but the coffee I got here was terrific. Stop and enjoy one.

The coffee here is great. Tullah is a real hidden gem with so many amazing hikes and walk. The lakes in and around Tullah are tranquil and picturesque.

Stopped in Tullah for a coffee and saw the pink cottage so decided to give it a try. Took our keep cups to get coffee and was told by the person behind the counter that he wouldn’t put coffee in the keep cups because we...hadn’t bought the lids and he didn’t want the coffee spilt. Maybe he shouldn’t have such a high counter. After returning with the lids we bought our coffees. Coffee was average so shouldn’t have bothered.
