Description

Nestled by the river, this restaurant promises a scenic dining experience that captivates with its breathtaking views and delightful atmosphere. While many patrons rave about the fantastic scenery and delicious food, numerous recent visits suggest inconsistencies in service and menu availability, particularly during busy holidays. Some diners have reported long waits before receiving service and limited food options, which has led to disappointment. However, those who endure the wait often find the experience rewarding, thanks to friendly staff and a vibrant ambiance, making it a worthwhile stop for anyone exploring the Sequoias, particularly for its charming outdoor terrace.

On our way out of the NPark, Nice selection of local beers on tap, nice choice of home made burgers. Was expecting to find local trout on the menu, but not there...hence not the 5 stars...

Food is salty and distasteful. Water tastes weird too. I would suggest avoiding chicken wings and fries. Also has to wait for quite a long time for service and food. Feels like this place is understaffed and overrated

This is a very scenic spot on the rivers edge. However, it is not for the vegetarian or vegan. It was very loud with live music when I visited, which to me took away from the serenity of the view. I did not eat here. Just took a photo.

I have always liked going to this restaurant, but Mother’s Day 5/12/24 was a total fail. We arrived just before 2 for lunch, we were told it would be a hour and half wait. Ok we knew it would be a wait since it was a holiday. We waited, and waited and waited 2 hrs later they call us to our table, they hand a paper menu that only has 2 main items on it, we ask for the regular menu and the waiter says this is what we have to off and that of the 2 choices they only had the beef brisket left. So in reality you only had 1 choice. We got up and left. We kept wondering why the wait was so long when they had at least 6 plus empty tables available. They really should have given people waiting their menu for the day or had it posted to see. We wouldn’t have waited. I’m pretty sure those empty tables were because of people walking out. Note to self, don’t ever go to this restaurant on a holiday.
