I'm not sure what changed since my first visit last year, but it seems things have improved—perhaps there's new management? I returned because it was the nearest spot for a hot plate bibimbap, and I was pleasantly surprised to find both the service and the flavor of the dishes have greatly improved. I will definitely be coming back soon. View all feedback.
What J You doesn't like about Korean Chili:
The most average korean food I've ever had. The jajangmyun flavor is off. Tastes alot like oil. Weird but ok. Noodle consistency was not bad. The bibimbap needs like 3x more gochujang sauce. Could have been much better if that was there. The beef and veggies tasted good but it needed that gochujang to complete the dish ... but disappointment in what it could have been... o well. Overall 3 of 5 stars. Average. View all feedback.

I've let myself try this place because my wife is picky with food. but she saw how tick Korean maishunde had and found out they have here. we had Korean maishunds and I had barberrams. all in the restaurant seemed to enjoy their eating. I will definitely be back to try more.
I absolutely love visiting this restaurant! The food is incredibly delicious, and the staff is always wonderful. The customer service is outstanding. I tried the Korean maishund and hotteok for the first time today, and I can only say that I can't wait to go back for more!
During our last visit, the owners generously treated us to free Korean-style corn pancakes, which we really appreciated, especially since we had never tried them before—they were so good! This time, we sampled their sweet and tangy chicken gangjeong, and it did not disappoint. The highlight of today's visit, however, was their new Korean corn dogs. I had never tried one before and wasn't sure what to expect, but in true Korean Chili fashion, it was amazing! The maishund had a fantastic flavor, reminiscent of a giant mozzarella stick blended with a churro. I’ve never tasted anything like it. It was incredibly crispy and loaded with cheese. I’m not sure if my photos truly captured the amount of delectable goat cheese inside, but believe me, it was an impressive amount. The maishund was huge—perfect for sharing between two people—and it was also priced very well. This is definitely a must-try item! We wrapped up our meal with their hotteok, which was also delightful—a pancake filled with a melted brown sugar sauce and served with small pieces drizzled with three different types of vanilla ice cream. The service during all three of my visits has been top-notch. The staff is always friendly and attentive, making you feel welcome and explaining the dishes when they arrive at your table. They seem genuinely excited to share their new offerings and eager for feedback. You can tell how much the owner values providing customers with a great experience, and every time I’ve left has been wonderful. With delicious food that I crave and excellent service, I can’t wait to return. I highly recommend Korean Chili to anyone who loves Korean cuisine or for those looking to try it for the first time!
If you've never had a Korean corn dog, go here and try it! The sweetest people work here, and they have amazing food. It took me back to when I visited Busan, and I am so happy I got to eat here on my visit to California!
