I just had the pleasure of being served by Girlie, and she is undoubtedly the nicest server I've encountered in any restaurant in the entire casino. I would rate her five stars for sure! Management should seriously consider cloning her! Even if you're not in a great mood when you arrive, I guarantee that after interacting with her, you'll leave with a smile on your face that lasts for the rest of your day or night—or... What Rebecca H doesn't like about Canoes Carvery:
The service was incredibly quick, but it seemed like the food had been pre-cooked and reheated in the microwave. We didn't notice any actual ovens in sight. Would we come back? Probably. Was it worth the price? Not really.
The restaurant is supposed to be open until 9 PM, but when I arrived at 8 PM, they were already closed!
Terrible management! I wish I could give this place a negative star rating. The food was inedible, and I experienced discomfort for several days after eating there. It’s simply not safe to dine here. I strongly advise you to avoid this unpleasant establishment—it's just not worth it!
I visited Canoes Carvery Deli and had a wonderful experience. Christy, my cashier, provided exceptional customer service, which really lifted my spirits. The chef prepared a delicious nachos supreme topped with chili, and it was fantastic for just $8. I also ordered an extra roast beef sandwich with chips, along with a chocolate dessert and some banana nut bread. Everything was delightful!
The food was served very quickly, but it felt like everything had been pre-cooked and simply microwaved. We didn’t notice any actual ovens in the place. Sohn mentioned that the burger tasted like it had something like panko crumbs mixed in, but he thought it was delicious. My husband agreed, likening it to a gourmet version of an AM/PM burger. I enjoyed the fries, but they also seemed like they had been microwaved, as they were a bit clumped together. Would we come back to eat here? Was it worth the price?
