Ruby Thai Kitchen - Tukwila
Ruby Thai Kitchen
Description
Ruby Thai presents a mixed culinary experience, where some cherish the convenience and affability, while others lament the quality. Diners describe the food as bland and misleading, with claims that what is labeled as Thai lacks authenticity, leaning instead towards subpar Chinese-American fare. The portions are criticized for being meager and lacking flavor, with dishes like beef broccoli receiving particular disdain for the absence of meat. However, loyal patrons appreciate the reliability of the eatery, noting that it remains open regardless of weather conditions and offers affordable, sample-friendly options, likening it to a fast-casual alternative to traditional American eateries.

The staff was friendly and provided good service. However, the food was very disappointing. The Pad Thai noodles were bland, chewy, and overall the worst noodles I have ever had. The meat was fatty, chewy, and lacked flavor. I would recommend avoiding this restaurant. Food rating: 1 out of 5.
I'm sorry, but this restaurant has one of the most inauthentic "Thai" food I have ever tried. The dishes taste more Chinese and are overly salty.
The restaurant offers tasty and affordable food court options. If you're unsure, you can always try a free sample. It can be compared to Panda Express for Chinese food - not in a negative way, but to provide context. It's a refreshing alternative to the usual American fast food options.
Tried it and wasn't impressed enough to to even give two stars except the employee serving was polite.
