Panera Bread - Tukwila

I eat at different Panera Bread restaurants. I had great food and service at this location yesterday. My one star is for beverages. I have always been able to have a refreshing drink whenever I visit. I do not drink caffeine, I do not drink sugar sodas, and here the only option for me was plain water. I had just paid for a drink and found I did not have any drink options at this store that did not have sugar or caffeine There were 3, yes 3 caffeine enhanced lemonades, a sugared lemonade, unsweetened regular tea and a flavor of green tea, both of which are full of caffeine. Then there was the soda dispenser, again sugared and or caffeine drinks. Is this a new thing? There has always been an herbal unsweetened tea in all previous visits. That is why I like to eat here. This is now a do not visit restaurant for me.

Food was great but the employee was walking around with her mask down and then when asked she stated I am on my break and not by food while at the register by the bread and pastries and proceded to walk past us taking her mask fully down. She quickly ran to the back (where the food was) to speak with the the manager with her mask down when we were speaking with the manager reporting her unsanitary actions not following CDC guidelines. Then proceeded to pass us multiple times telling us to have a good day pulling her mask off. This was all done in front of management as well the management did nothing.

Panera used to be one of my favorite restaurants, I know it wasn’t healthy as it looked like or as their marketing said but I would at least go three times a month. Their quality got worse and so did their customer service. Last and final time we came here our food had -I guess “fruit mosquitos”. We told the cashier and she said oh yeah “they’re always on the salads or lettuce sorry about that” which made it awkward and uncomfortable….we didn’t even enjoy our food which also was cold…

The food is excellent, the service at the counter is outstanding, and everything is handled efficiently. I really enjoy Panera Bread!

This is my favorite restaurant, and everything was fantastic, as always!
