I used to have good experience coming here but this time not so much, waited awhile for a waiter to come ask whether we've placed our order while others who came after got service first. I asked for extra spicy and 5 stars was not spicy enough. Fried garlic chicken was delicious. Basil chicken was good. The yum tua poo was false advertising as they use sliced green beans instead. What Andrés Ujueta Habeych doesn't like about Bai Tong Thai Tukwila:
We had to wait a bit when we arrived, but it wasn't the 45 minutes they said it would be - more like 15 to 20 minutes. The food was high quality, with the peanut sauce for the fresh rolls being a bit sweeter than other places but still delicious. The food was very flavorful, but it wasn't served warm enough and cooled down quickly, making it less enjoyable after about 10 minutes. This was the only downside. Despite t... View all feedback.
Everything on the menu is exceptional. Never have I had a bad experience here. My favorites are the banana leaf wrapped chicken, crispy garlic chicken, gai larb salad, Tom Kah Gai soup, and any of their curry dishes. If you haven't been to this Thai restaurant, you're missing out!
I haven't been to Bai Tong for a long time. My hubby and I came on a Saturday around 6:30pm. When I entered the store, I was on a waiting list. However, I received text message in about 5 minutes and I was able to sit in a booth by the window. We quickly decided what we wanted to eat, but it took a while to get our order. We ordered crispy garlic chicken and papaya salad. I chose 3 for the spiciness. It was a little spicy and the combination of two dishes were very good, sweet crispy chicken and sour papaya salad. Papaya salad is recommended to be eaten with raw cabbage. It gets more crowded after 7pm, so I think it's better to make a reservation on weekends.
I am traveling from out of town was craving Thai food. This place was busy but no wait. Quick service! Food was delicious. We ordered the fish cake for appetizers, Main entrees chilly fried rice Panang Curry chicken level 2 was perfect but still got the chilies on the side.
I ordered the Pork Pad Kra Prau and added a fried egg, I also ordered the Sliced Cucumber salad. Everything was so good and had the right amount of spice that I asked for. The only issue I had was that the fried egg was served on the side on a leaf of lettuce, some of the yolk got lost on the leaf rather than seeping into the Pad Kra Prau. But honestly I shouldn’t be so picky. The staff was kind and attentive to everybody’s needs, all other diners seemed very satisfied with their dishes.
Best Thai food in Seattle, Bai Tong nails it. The food is very delicious, they maintain do a good job with flavors and spices. The Jasmine tea was great. Lots of Vegeterian options.
