I ordered honey chicken and fried rice, and I was pleasantly surprised by the price—I had to check it twice! It's incredibly reasonable; you won't find fried rice for just $7.50 anywhere else on the Gold Coast. While the dish was a bit greasy, it's hard to complain at that price. The honey chicken was fresh, sweet, and delicious. Overall, a lovely experience. The staff were friendly, and I give this place five stars,... View all feedback.
The Tugun Village is truly a local gem. The price is very reasonable, the staff are super friendly and welcoming. The quality and proportion sizes are amazing too. From experience, I would highly recommend the Mi Goreng cooked by chef Sam. Other recommended foods would be the Singapore noodles or the Honey Chicken.
Really nice food at good prices. Great locally owned family run restaurant. Try it, you will come back
Best Chinese I have ever tasted! Everything is so fresh and delicious. Only place I get Chinese from now!
Hidden gem actually! funny enough, this is also the name of cafe next door (which is also quite good.) after herr hizolas a few weeks before (that is a good example for well executed cantonese food,) I have meaning to give tugun asian for a few years. Why I didn't do it earlier, I'll never know. I ordered a classic kombi, which is a measuring device for a good kitchen/cook honey huh and special fried rice. the kitchen had big flavors when I picked up my farewell. special fried rice was presented with slices of Chinese style bratporkfilet spicy and spicy were for the blackest before place. that really uncovered me how balanced the taste was. the experience shows here. Honey chicken was just as good as, possibly better than mr. hizolas and for a fraction of the price. garnished with sesame and fried egg noodle. not quite sick sweet or oily as most other offers out there. light and very appealing smokiness from a well-proven wok dressed in both. If they feel like good, honest Chinese/canonese eating without the Burleigh tax, they will definitely give it. only bummer is the only use plastic!
Very good food, shop smells amazing and amazing staff very nice also food was very tasty, will come back again
