It is much more than trout - and is excellent throughout. We were there with a group of 15 and tried various dishes on the menu, and everyone was delighted. Compared to the quality you get, prices are really reasonable (though the place is not cheap). View all feedback.
Very German. Gemütlichkeit in capitals. German decor, food at its best, good atmosphere and very attentive staff. Had a very enjoyable evening.

We went there for a candlelight dinner. Nice atmosphere and friendly staff. Spätzle could have been better but the meat and Bratensoße were very good. We liked a lot the Pear soup as starter. I appreciate the effort to make a vegan Menu I took the vegan risotto, which had nice interesting flavor but the grain were mostly broken and too long cooked . Dessert ice cream with fruits salad and the wine were great.
Arrived at to be told that kitchen closing in mns! Sign outside said open till Obviously didn't need our business. Made to feel very unwelcome
In Tuebingen people like to go to Forello Restaurante to eat dead fish from the Neckar River and get drunk with swabian vino. I have see the locals dance on the tables, waving dead fish in their hands. Fun family activity if you are visiting
