Well located, with beautiful view of the river. a large selection of local options (to eat and drink). good service and reasonable prices.

I liked the atmosphere and the service was good. Been there actually twice during my one week stay. If you love beer like I do, it's the perfect place for you because they dont only serve exceptual home brewed beer but also a lot of...dishes which were modified beer versions (a beer cake for example)

Right on the river, this large restaurant/beer garden/bar is exceedingly popular. On the weekday evening we visited they were packed, yet found space for two without reservations. Wait staff friendly and helpful—no long wait for the beer and good Swabian dishes here. Food was very...tasty and served in large quantity. And of course speaking only English is no problem. All in all, the sort of popular place that all university towns have—culture and cuisine may differ, but the spirit is the same. If you are in Tubingen, do stop by here, if only for an afternoon drink.

We went there two times, for lunch on a sunny day and for little late dinner. Both times we enjoyed the view and a prompt service. The food was very nice, especially we like the tarte flambee which we choose two times. I surely recommend...it! Also very nice beer!

Their kitchen is very typical of the region, they serve beautiful portions, and best they have excellent beer from their own brewery.
