Tuddenham Mill

It is very relaxing and eating is very good. it's our second time and we'd be safe again. the rooms are beautiful, but a little ground for the money. bed is wonderful

My burger was pink in the middle that I found off-putting

Converted water mill in an absolutely magical environment. we were in one of the corners that reminded me of the description of peggottys hut in dickens david copperfield. the whole place was totally enchanted!

Sa for 20 minutes before someone even approached us to take our meal order. the drinks took 20 minutes. at least we were offered a bottle of water during this time. small comfort really. then the meal took another half an hour, although it was ordered simultaneously with the drinks. they were not busy and well over an hour from sitting to our only cure. on the plus side, when eating finally arrived, it was extraordinary. but qualitatiw high-quality food must be supported with quality service. the latter was simply atrocious.

Stunning place and location, amazing food. Totally left down by utterly frightful service.When we arrived (booked the Tipi), there were only two other tables occupied.It took them 25mins to come and take a drinks food order. We were literally discussing getting up and leaving when they came.Gave them benefit of the doubt and ordered.Was a further 15mins before two soft drinks arrived and another 20 mins after that before food arrived.The food was superb, but the service was incredibly poor and thoroughly spoiled the entire experience.Sorry to say that we won’t be back.
