The restaurant offers both indoor and outdoor dining options. The interior dining area is spacious, allowing us to sit apart from other patrons. The high ceilings and open layout made it easy to converse during our meal. There were carafes of ice water already on the table when we arrived. Our waiter was friendly and efficient, providing just the right amount of service without being intrusive. The menu features a wide range of options, catering to both vegetarians and meat lovers. We ordered four dishes to share along with a lamb biryani. The lamb was served in its own crock, topped with a naan bread cover. There was more than enough food for four adults, and we even had some leftovers to take home. All the dishes were well-prepared and spiced according to our preferences. The only minor disappointment was the naan bread, which was served separately, cut into four small, fairly dry pieces. Other than that, we thoroughly enjoyed our dinner and appreciated being able to catch up for nearly two hours without feeling rushed. We look forward to returning to Tamarind in the future.

Beautiful, incredibly clean dining room, friendly staff, delicious food. weren't packed so the service was fast and great! if they like Indian food, do they have to try it! delicious tikka masala ????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????

The service is good. The food is great. I can say that this place is an addition to my favourite restaurant. The only thing I feel bad about is that, when we came for dinner, it was literally just us in the dining area. I wish more people try tamarind so they can stay in the business. With the COVID situation, I am sure a lot of restaurants are suffering. Let's support them by patronizing their restaurant. And to those who wouldn't try Indian food(I know of many who wouldn't) gosh! You guys! You are missing a lot ? Indian food is really tasty ? at least try it, you know ?

I visited Tamarind for the first time today, and I was not disappointed at all! I ordered the chili garlic shrimp, which was served with garlic naan, and it was a must-try. If you haven't been here yet, you're definitely missing out!

Everything tasted overwhelmingly sour due to the excessive use of tamarind. We ordered Gobi Manchurian, which consisted of small pieces of cauliflower drenched in tamarind. Honestly, I could make a better sambar with the amount of tamarind they used. The samosas were disappointing as well—just two tiny pieces, and one was overly oily. The chutneys served were mainly lemony, and the butter chicken tasted more like tomato purée. The Kashmiri Malai Kofta had lackluster gravy, and the kofta balls were greasy on the inside, seemingly fried from leftovers. The garlic naan was much smaller than expected for the price, leaving us wanting more. Now, for the so-called egg biryani—it was simply white rice with a few spices tossed in, completely lacking any biryani flavor and without salt. The royal lassi, a mango variety, was again too tangy for our taste. Overall, we won’t be returning if we ever find ourselves in Tucson, AZ again.
