Went for a birthday brunch and as always, homey feeling, servers were very friendly. Had bowl with white Menudo, which was good. Also pozole, Mickey Mouse Pancake I guess inflation was definitely more expensive than I remember, but it was worth it. View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about Sunny Daze Cafe:
I went to this restaurant for breakfast with my son. The staff was friendly and the food was decent. However, I ordered a children's meal that was supposed to come with a drink, so I got my son an apple juice. When the bill arrived, I was charged $4 for the apple juice. I was told that the drink was supposed to be soda, not juice. Who serves their children silk with breakfast? And who charges $3.89 for an apple juice... View all feedback.
The Sun Cafe is like a home cafe that used to be gone. From delicious coffee to perfectly cooked bacon? the huge pancakes?. There's no place like that! You can go to Dennys or IHOP or the Waffle House, but they don't hold a candle to Sunny Daze Cafe! The service is very friendly great! I recommend this place every day of the week! Look at yourself!

This is a fantastic spot for breakfast. It's reasonably priced and the staff is amazing. I'll definitely be returning when I meet up with my friend next time.

However, I ordered a children's meal that was supposed to come with a drink, so I got my son an apple juice. When the bill arrived, I was charged $4 for the apple juice. I was told that the drink was supposed to be soda, not juice. Who serves their children silk with breakfast? And who charges $3.89 for an apple juice? That's almost as much as the kids meal itself. I pointed out the mistake and suggested that they should make it clear on the menu if juice isn't included. I won't be returning.
This restaurant is extremely overpriced for the portion sizes. The photo shows a half portion of biscuits and gravy, which was very small. The biscuit needed more gravy, but when I mentioned it as we left, I was told I should have said something earlier. I was disappointed in the quality of the food and the prices, with each plate costing $4.99 and the total bill for what was shown in the photo coming to $9.98. Additionally, the coffee was $2.99 per cup. This was my first and last visit to this establishment. They should focus on serving better food and improving customer service. I won't go into further detail, but I believe they could benefit from some etiquette classes for their staff.
