Leo's Mexican - Tucson

Stopped in for a late lunch to try a local favorite. Was immediately met but a smiling face who seated me after asking my preference. Gave me recommendations on the menu, and brought out warm chips and fresh salsa. I decided on the flautas for my meal and was not surprised when they arrived crispy with a side of guacamole so fresh there were still chunks of avocado. I wish I had remembered to leave off the lettuce, the only mistake I made. So glad I chose Leo's and will return on my next trip to Tucson.

Got 2 types of tacos and horchata. Nothing was authentic or even baseline mexican food. The chicken tasted like canned cat food. The horchata is not made fresh it's Coca-Cola company garbage. Very disappointed for a Tucson establishment. The people were kind so that saved my opinion.

Got two chili rellenos dinners. They were not cooked, dripping in oil and had to just toss them out. No where near the $16.50 each price tag. Worse meal we have had in Tucson.

Very clean, atmosphere was great, service was great! We had the carne asada tacos.... they were excellent!! My fiance proposed to me quietly there!! If your in town definitely a must try. We will definitely be back to try more!!

Great food, great service, super nice people. Very comfortable atmosphere. Can’t wait to go back.
