Holy Smokin Butts Bbq - Tucson

Too much smoke and you are better off going to Famous Dave's than here.I like it smoked but not burnt.

Accidentally came half an hour before closing and they still had welcoming energy! The food was delicious -especially the prime rib- and their sauce selection was good also. Great place for family dinner, big tables and not crazy quiet.

It was my first time coming here so we wanted to try a mix of the meats offered. We ordered the big Q platter. And let me tell you what a bang for your buck you got to try a mix of delicious and moist meats for a relatively cheap price. They also have a variety of sauces you can choose from.Our waitress was very friendly and quick to service us. I would say that the ambience of this place is casual and relaxed.

There are other BBQ places in Tucson, but don't bother; this one has superb smoky goodness. I've only been there twice (for sandwich takeout) the pulled port is really good, and the brisket is even better. There are 3 cuts of brisket from which to choose, along with multiple sauces to complement your meal, if even needed. The sides work with everything. Sandwiches are a complete meal in themselves stacked so high you leave completely full with no need for another meal that day. The pricing is very reasonable as well. I highly recommend HSB for anyone who craves really good and genuine smoked meats.

I had the Moist Brisket, mac cheese and BBQ beans...all so good! My husband loved the Tri-Tip and our friend raved about her order of pulled pork. Our server, Rudy, was excellent and very personable. This is one of the best BBQ restaurants in Tucson! They also give Military, Veteran and First Responder discounts. The only caveat is that they sometimes run out of some food items later in the day.
