I really enjoyed the tacos asada, they were my favorite on the menu. Everything else looked delicious as well. Make sure to try the guacamole, it's a must-have. While it may be a bit expensive, it is definitely worth the price. View all feedback.
What Rosa Maggio doesn't like about El Kora Sonoran Hot Dogs #2:
El Guero Canelo came highly recommended based on so many great reviews. The food did not match the hype for the five of us who tried their food. We all ordered the Sonoran Hot Dogs. Each one of us were disappointed. Maybe they had a different chef the day we visited? View all feedback.
The burritos consist of a massive tortilla and a large amount of meat. they are not buds, no cheese, no guacamole, no pico de gallo, no sauce. very bland. they have a contingent bar with tiny plastic cups with salsa, which is not seasoned with little to no. if we order a burrito, we expect it to be loaded or at least asked when we do or not want it.
Went for Lunch just for the Sonoran Dogs they are messy but worth the napkins also try the bottled sodas old school
After hearing great things about this restaurant and its James Beard award, we were excited to try it out. However, after driving 40 minutes to get there, we were left underwhelmed. We tried the highly recommended Sonoran dog and a chicken taco, but neither dish lived up to the hype. The Sonoran dog lacked flavor and just tasted like a basic hot dog with pinto beans on a bun. The chicken taco was disappointingly plain, made up of two small corn tortillas with diced chicken that some pieces seemed questionable. The only saving grace was the condiment bar, which added some much-needed flavor. It's worth noting that they do not serve alcohol. The restaurant had ample seating both indoors and outdoors, and everything appeared clean. We visited on a Wednesday afternoon and had no wait, but we don't plan on returning.

I went to El Guero Canelo for dinner after hearing that it was ranked 7th in the US for best hot dogs. The Sonoran Dogs ($3.50) were truly excellent. They consist of a bacon-wrapped hot dog with beans, tomatoes, mayo, and jalapeno sauce in a Mexican bun. They were very delicious. I used the drive-thru and the service was quick after placing my order outside.
