We started the night with a order of gochujang brussel sprouts and they were savory and sweet! the mint topping was absolutely perfect with the sweet and spicy chili paste sauce. I was impressed by the combination! I forgot the waiter to ask if they have used butter for them, but they were absolutely delicious! definitely recommend. the vegan curry was the best curry ever had. period. I mean, this curry was absolutely fantastic. 10/10. it was refined, peppery, refreshing, complex, unique aromas, satisfying etc. very good! they will not be disappointed. this is by far the best curry in tucson, if not ever. they needed more vegan options! Actually, the cook should start a vegan restaurant. possessed. updated by previous review on 2022-04-13
I can only talk about my experience, but culinary dropout had an amazing curry dish for which to die. it was her only vegan dish on the menu I know and in the rule I am not a curry fan, but it was amazing. our waiter was also very friendly and always ready to answer questions. highly recommended!
Return customers. we had a fun time and a great meal!
The atmosphere and eating was great, but our server was terrible. he came 4 times in total. I sat with an empty drink for at least 10 minutes. our feed plates were left on the table for the entire meal. it was a smaller table, so it felt very scattered. first we assumed that our server was busy, but we saw him running around several times in the kitchen and with other servers. this was our first time when we visited any culinary dropout and heard good dinge. we will probably give another attempt, but it will probably not be our best choice.
Great service, great food, fun place to eat and hang out.
Culinary Dropout offers a vibrant atmosphere complete with games like corn hole and ping pong, making it a lively spot for gatherings. While the food is generally praised, with standout items like the vegan curry and crispy fried chicken, service can be hit or miss. Guests frequently noted delays in food delivery and mixed experiences with server attentiveness. The ambiance pulses with music, catering to those seeking a dynamic social scene. For birthday celebrations or casual hangouts, this restaurant is appealing, though patrons may want to prepare for inconsistency in service and pricing.

Very loud energetic eatery. Good food but not anything special. Servers work hard as a team Great place to watch a game or host a LARGE BOISTEROUS party
We had to flag someone down to take our drink order after we had been sitting more than 20 minutes. After that, everything was good. Food was amazing.
We were a party of five, celebrating two birthdays. Food and service were good. Appreciated the two complimentary desserts (with candles) which added to the celebration. On a Friday afternoon for lunch, the restaurant was moderately busy which allowed for normal toned conversation. We had a great time!
Food was great and served hot that really matters. Our server was Michael, who was entertaining and on top of it. Thank you.
Staff was great, we were seated at the metal chairs and the hostess asked if we would prefer the Soft chairs.. yes please and thank you. Food was good. Wine was a bit pricey.

Vegan curry is specifically noted on the menu and delish. The Brussels sprouts have no meat or dairy and we’re delicious! They do contain honey. The butternut squash and kale salad w/o cheddar was yummy too, I added black rice instead of cheddar. The dressing does contain honey as well. Really tasty options! Also fiery family friendly place with ping pong and all sorts of fun games to play for all ages. Updated from previous review on 2022-12-25
Bring back the fun, plant-based options you started with!
