I visited this restaurant for the first time today since becoming vegan, hoping to try their soyfrito filling (which they did not have). The long line almost made me leave, as the service was slow and there was limited variety in terms of vegetables. The only options were lettuce, bell peppers/onions, and salsa. As of November 2013, AZ Chipotles don't have sofritas, but black and pinto beans are vegan so it's easy to get a delicious, filling meal. Good mexican food is obviously plentiful here in Tucson, but we still frequent Chipotle because their food is good, fresh, and vegan-friendly.
Made me feel like I was in assembly line. That was out of everything.
There are flies buzzing around the cheese, and the meat is placed directly next to the vegetables in uncovered dishes.
I visited this restaurant for the first time today since becoming a vegan, hoping to try their soy frito filling (which they did not have). I almost left due to the long line and slow service. They had limited options in terms of toppings, with only lettuce, peppers, and salsa available. I really enjoy Chipotle. One of the reasons I like it is because it's conveniently located on the east side and offers a satisfying vegan meal option that isn't overly unhealthy. I often find myself having to travel quite a distance to dine out, so it's nice to have a nearby option. The only downside is that the menu lacks variety, so I can get bored if I eat there too frequently. Additionally, the lines can be quite long at times.
