While some reviews mentioned disappointment with overcooked dishes and slow service, others enjoyed the intimate ambiance, live music, and top-notch meals. The experience can vary based on the night, but the majority of diners agree that this family-run Italian restaurant is a charming spot for a special dinner or casual weekend meal. Despite some service hiccups, the food quality and cozy setting make Caffé Torino a favorite for many.
Service very good and good ambience. Three persons enjoyed their past dishes. One person had halibut special and it was badly overcooked and dry.
We went to the wrong restaurant. Apparently their are two Cafe Torinos in and around the Tucson Foothills area. We went to the one we always go to at Lambert and La Canada and they didn't have our reservation. Good reason, I had signed up for the wrong restaurant. Anyhow, they were very gracious and gave us a nice booth. The dinner was very nice and as a special surprise we ordered 15 year Pappy VanWinkle. rf
The food was delicious, and the live music was beautiful! The service was slow!!!
The food is amazing! Be sure to try the pork medallions with honey glaze sauce. Very tender and tasty! Torino wedge salad was delicious, too.
4 of us shared a lovely Valentine’s Day dinner. The restaurant was full, but the service was good, and the food was excellent. Caffé Torino is becoming one of my favorites for both lunch and dinner.
