Well well well, by pure happenstance I dropped a pin here when requesting and Uber, and little did I know, I stumbled into the oldest and possibly best bar in T... read more Well well well, by pure happenstance I dropped a pin here when requesting and Uber, and little did I know, I stumbled into the oldest and possibly best bar in Tucson.It’s a small space with primarily bar top seating, along with a pool table, a juke box, and a handful of tables. It was a Friday night, and boy it was busy! The staff were kind and welcoming to us Phoenicians and were happy to give us the low down on how the Buffet worked. Turns out they give everyone a free round at certain times of the night, which is a really fun and unique ritual.Beers on tap are very limited, but I was happy enough with the canned beers available. Jell-O shots are also super popular here. The Buffet offers a smorgasbord of people watching and interesting interactions, and is a fantastic place to either begin or end your night.
