Reviews - Fryborg
Reviews summary
Fryborg is a local gem known for house-made fries with inventive toppings — from Dutch fries and poutine to a standout curry ketchup — plus solid burgers and a buttermilk fried chicken sandwich. Family-friendly touches (games, varied diet-drink options) and personable staff elevate the casual, lively atmosphere. Most visits deliver flavorful, high-quality plates, though occasional missteps (forgotten toppings, an undercooked egg) and slightly high prices mean consistency can vary.

Been there 3 times Opening day and twice since. Great fries, the chili topping is very nice. They did forget my chili once but otherwise no mistakes. Price is a bit high but the food is good!
This is a really cool place. There are even games for kids (or kids at heart) to play. Food is very tasty. I particularly enjoyed the poutine! The menu looks really good!
We?ve had burgers and fries here twice and were so amazed my the delicious burgers. We?re so excited to have this gem in the town. Prices and quality are great! Looking forward to visiting them probably too frequently.

The food was excellent, the service was quick, and the staff was incredibly friendly. We really enjoyed talking with the woman at the front desk (Stacy, perhaps?). We highly recommend the cheese steaks and the assimilation fries—they disappeared so quickly that we didn't even get a chance to take a picture of them!
We ordered 3 different flavors from their house made fries and all were absolutely delicious. The butter milk roasted chicken burger was just as good. Overall, we enjoyed our dinner and would definitely visit there in the future.
Here’s my honest review. I visited Fryborg for the first time and ordered the Assimilation fries with bacon. Unfortunately, there was very little bacon on my fries, and the egg was practically raw. It would have been helpful if they had asked how I wanted my egg cooked or at least warned me that the dish includes raw eggs. The undercooked egg caused the cheese and island sauce to blend into one overwhelming sauce, making it hard to enjoy the individual flavors. The onions were the only redeeming part; without them, I might have felt unwell. In the end, I threw the dish away and ended up smelling like raw egg for the rest of the day. I won’t be returning and can’t recommend this place. As a passionate foodie, I found the whole experience very disappointing.
