The service and food were wonderful, as always. We were seated at the bar, which was quite noisy due to the mixer, and we also had to navigate around the server and guests coming out of the bathroom. View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about The Melting Pot:
we took the children and had that huh and steak. it was a 2 hours experience. the children loved it. I would like to have seen a bill instead of just seeing the sum on a screen because the bill had $50 more than I expected. View all feedback.
The Melting Pot was such a nice place to enjoy dinner with my family. The waiters we're incredibly nice and welcoming. The food was better than I can even describe! The fondue was perfectly made and melts in your mouth with every bite. With the meat package we got Salmon, Teriyaki Steak, Chicken, Mushrooms, and Shrimp! The last thing we got was the Milk Chocolate Fondue, that fondue can make life worth living for! I 100% recommend this place to anybody who's looking for a nice place to eat!
I loved the fondue but you definitely need to tell them to ADD SEASONING to the fondue AND ask them to bring ALL the seasonings when they bring your veggies to grill. Grilled veggies doesn't taste like much without the seasoning. The food itself was great!We had the vegan dinner and they were able to make that cheez melt. Look at my pic! However, it took a really long time when ourwaiter checked on us. About 15 minutes for the waiter to bring the seasonings for the veggies, they were cooked and I wasalready half way done. Not to mention the restaurant didn't have heat, end of January in Michigan. So it was cold, I had mittensfor when I wasn't eating and my coat on my lap. Restaurant manager never came around to check in or even apologize for the noheat. I'm not used to that at all. For me, personally, if I'm spending my time to go out, I need good food, good service, and agood environment. I not planning on trying Melting Pot again though.
This was my first time visiting, but there are definitely many more visits to come. It was under 150 (with tax and 20% tip) for me and my boyfriend to get a four course meal. The meal included a cheese fondue, salad, a plate of a variety of meats andsauces that we cooked to our own liking, and a chocolate fondue for dessert. We will definitely be back.
