We used Shield’s Troy/one of their banquet rooms for my son’s grad party earlier this month. Everything from the room reservation process months before, to them sending me pics of the room so that I would know how to decorate/where, to them assuring me that our guests would have plenty of food/drink throughout the party without me having to worry about it—they were wonderful. What Ford Bechtelar doesn't like about Shields Restaurant Bar Pizzeria:
we hosted a party here recently, because we thought the prices were fair and liked the idea of a private party room. i was told there were no parties at the same time as ours, only one prior.. there was a party going on in the same room as our party, and it was just too much. i had anticipated a private room, i had asked THREE times if there was going to be another event on the same day so i really felt disappointed.... A work friend and I took a lunch break at Shield's in Troy today.
If you're looking for a place with Greasy pizza and locals then this is the place for you. A restaurant with a dive bar feel.
This is the second year we've had our family Christmas party there the power was actually out this year we made the best of it it did come back on and we've always had a great experience here
We cannot recommend Shields enough! The atmosphere and space was so inviting and perfect for our family/friends gathering! The food is AMAZING and the service was IMPECCABLE! Rich was so kind, friendly and on top of everything we needed! If you need somewhere to host a party with zero stress look no further : Thanks for everything, Rich team!
