Best Thai and asian restaurant in the town, very friendly staff, nice atmosphere and the food taste great.

Simple, delicious, clean, nice service. Always happy to stop by for a quick dinner here with my son.

Food and Service was great. I will for sure eat here again, it is also my Dad's favorite Thai restaurant. I had the Pad Thai and wife ate some curry dish. All 3 of us had plenty left over for the next day. Soup was ok, but that was more a preference thing for me.

Summer rolls are huge! I also enjoyed a tasty slightly spicy soup and the cashew chicken lunch special. It had been a while since I last visited Orchid Thai, I will be back soon. Update: Lunch specials include a half and half option of my go to cashew chicken paired with their Thai BBQ Royal Chicken. Delicious! Update May 2019: After minor remodeling they appear to be moving away from their Thai theme; now offering 'American ' alternate menu featuring breakfast sandwiches. In my opinion this hurts the quality of the Thai offerings as my 'Lunch Special #5 ' was lacking something. I will try again, but don 't change my favorite Thai spot in Troy!

Sadly I learned 2 weeks ago that the owners had decided to close the restaurant at the end of March. I've been dinning here since the early 90s and in 2016 when the original owners parted ways with this location I was a little concerned that the food would change and it did not and remained my favorite Thai Restaurant. A number of my favorite places have closed over the past year due to COVID.
