Greggs - Trowell

The restaurant staff was rude and gave dirty looks, with no manners like please or thank you. The service provided by Sue was acceptable but another staff member was terrible and arrogant. The food was rated a 2, service a 1, and atmosphere a 1 at 10:30am.

The prices were high and the pizza I received was undercooked and cold. It was truly shocking.

Greggs is always a reliable choice, even at a motorway rest stop. It stands out as good value compared to the other shops in the area, making it a much-appreciated pit stop while on the road. The service is top-notch, the food is delicious, and the atmosphere is pleasant. There is also plenty of parking available. I highly recommend stopping in for a meal, whether it's brunch or a quick snack. Your wallet and your taste buds will thank you.

Came off m1 after slow disrupted journey north due to tanker fire, in early evening on 22 August 2023 to be met with two young ladies who couldn't have been more friendly, helpful and sympathetic. Just what we needed to relax and eat before continuing the journey. Thank you girls, hope you are on next time we call in.
