Have eaten here 3 times since moving to Holt. Overall the food is great, especially on our last visit but we have suffered very long waits. Have nearly died of thirst in a pub which is a real pity as the beer is great, just the table service has been lacking (this appears to be just us when we go as service at other tables at the same time generally appears to be better) Service: 2 Location: 4 View all feedback.

Stayed here with my wife for a few days whilst visiting the Cotswolds. The staff were very friendly and helpful. We had a few evening meals and they were brilliant . I wouldn't hesitate in recommending The Tollgate Inn to anyone. Food drinks: Excellent food. Rooms: 5 Service: 5 Location: 5 Hotel highlights: Great value
I visited for an evening meal and I was pleasantly surprised by the standard of the food. They have a classic pub menu with additional extras that you will not find anywhere else, and all the food that came out was of a high quality leaning towards finer dining.
