Wendy's - Troutman

Garbage and I am not talking just about food quality. I have only been here twice and both times they were out of multiple items like frostys and baked potato's. Fries were burnt. It's in a run down truck stop and not worth it. There are other options nearby

Food was great and the cashier at the front was super nice

Food portions are getting smaller And the food was not that great.

Quality seems to be going down for all fast food lately.

I 've had many mediocre experiences here but I kept coming back because I work 2 minutes away, and it 's a wendys so how bad can it really be? This is where I draw the line. I ordered a chicken sandwich and it was inedible. The patty was so dry it split down the middle and was as chewy as leather. I called the restaurant and it just rang and rang with no answer so I went back to show the manager that they are serving food than would likely get someone sick. I didn 't get a sorry or anything of the sort. All I got was so do you want another one or your money back . I said neither, I just wanted to know that they would check the rest of their food but I didn 't get any such reassurances so I will not be coming back and I will urge all my co workers and customers to do the same for fear of getting sick. I know good help is hard to find but standards start at the top and if the management in a restaurant don 't care, then neither will anyone else that works there.
