This is a great local Mexican restaurant with delicious (and large) margaritas, delicious food and a beautiful atmosphere. Beautiful tiles work everywhere, convenient stands and fast service. What Dibs G doesn't like about La Costita Iv:
Flavorless low quality Mexican food. The most cardboard bland chips with out of the can tasting salsa, beans, no taste cheese! I wanted to like it but did not. Service ambiance acceptable however. View all feedback.
The first time the staff are friendly and the food is good. The drinks are very large and good..
First visit and very enjoyable. The restaurant is very clean and bright, with high ceilings and the space broken up into several dining areas. The decor is a great mix of contemporary and traditional, with superb brick and tile work throughout. There were quite a few guests but the acoustics kept the sound level very moderate and the seating design allowed for sufficient distance between diners, comfortable even with Covid restrictions. I would remiss not to mention that the air conditioning couldn 't have been any better! It was still in the mid-90s outside when we arrived but the A/C was never too cold--just cool enough--during our visit. The menu is fairly extensive (it includes several dishes that were new to me , including four soups and five salads, and is well laid out. In addition to the typical soda pop, coffee and iced tea options (among others , the beverage selection also includes Mexican Coke and six flavors of Jarritos. (There are also a number of margarita options, as well as piña coladas, mai tais and other adult beverages. The serving sizes are generous and the prices are reasonable (consistent with competitors ' . I ordered the enchilada/chili relleno combo, which comes with fluffy rice, what I think may be home-cooked refritos, and a small Mexican-style salad--all very good ... and too much food for me to finish. The chili was served with a tomato-onion sauce (also house-made, I suspect which tasted fresh and wonderfully tomatoey, and topped with Cotija cheese. My companion had the enchilada avocado tostada combo, and she was as happy with (and more than sated by her meal as much as I was. We were both way too full for dessert, so will have to come back to try the churros, flan and deep-fried ice cream. Our food was not only well prepared but also pleadingly presented. The service was also excellent--enough wait staff to see to everyone 's needs in a timely fashion but little enough attention that we didn 't feel bothered. In summary, we couldn 't have asked for a nicer dining experience. We 'll definitely be back!
Nice atmosphere. Prompt, friendly staff, very attentive. The food was well prepared and Hot (don't grab the plates! , orders were confused with other tables but nothing disconcerting; good drinks had a good time.
The food was really well prepared and tasty. The menu had a good mix of Mexican classics as well as some of Peline’s own combinations. The price was very much in line with the quality of the food. The wait staff was personable and attentive.

Even if it's overcrowded, it's not super loud. We have brought our young children here many times and the servers are so friendly and accommodating. Our server even came by tonight and offered to round off the whipped cream on the cocoa of our children, which was a big hit with the children. We never had a bad experience here and recommend it if you are looking for a Mexican restaurant with dune in service!
