Food and service was the best we had in Tropea! Very rustic family run restaurant, the owner is the fisherman and chef. Portions where huge, price was low and quality exceptional. Would go back in a flash

The food we had was better than that of the Michelin-tier restaurant that we've dined in the night before with the fraction of the price. We've been in Italy (Sicily) for 5 years now and love seafood . We always order the typical variety of local fishes in the area. and this is hands down the freshest, best tasting seafood we have ever experienced! The home cook feel was noticeable as this is a family own establishment managed by the mom and her daughter Antonina. Our default restaurant now when in Tropea!

We came here to eat calabrese seafood. The place seemed to be a simple, not fancy, but authentic one. The design inside is pretty much simple and old, the tables are a bit crowded right next to each other. We ordered menu of the day and another calabrese pasta. All of them were big portions, mainly the fileja was really delicious. Sadly the waitress was extremely slow, brought the food without any conception. She was dressed in jogging btw, which doesn't really suit any restaurant. However we ate pretty good and big portions, we probably won't return.

Food was amazing, at a fair price. Location is not great (not sea view or in city center), but the service and the atmosphere were great. Food was delicious, fish and other dishes were fresh and the experience was the best and most authentic you could get in the magic city of Tropea.
