The food is very expens... read more Nice restaurant with a stunning view but unfortunately they have mirror windows so after the sunset you cannot see anything from inside. The food is very expensive and the quality of raw materials is not so high. I recommend it before the sunset or if you can eat outside otherwise there are other suitable restaurants in Tropea. The waiter wasn’t taking care properly of us considering a bill of 40€/p

We only had a one night stopover in Tropea and, being October, lots of places were quiet, Pimm's was pretty close to our hotel and we dived in to get out of the weather, asked if we could just get a drink and were told that of course we could. The place was lovely on the eye restful colours, tasteful decor, spotless table linen, and good, unobtrusive music playing in the background. We thought it would be polite to look at the menu. It worked! A couple of fish dishes were served a tuna carpaccio and a grilled something or other (not that I didn't know what it was at the time I've just forgotten right now! . Both were gorgeous beautifully cooked and quickly served, and my mouth is watering as I write. It wasn't cheap, but it was definitely worth it and our experience was the exact opposite of the reviewer who thought that the staff were rude and who was thrown out early. We were made to feel welcome, there was no rush and we felt we could have stayed there even later (we left at around 10.15pm. We1l done and thank you Pimm's. Next time we're in Tropea we'll be back!
