I chose the premium wine pairing and was very happy about the choice. 16 courses including 5 starters in the lobby, however, need a bit getting used to. For me personally, it was a bit too much; in the end I could barely concentrate on the individual courses and was somewhat looking forward to the end ; That is a bit sad for such a nice place. My personal recommendation would be to let people choose between the 16-18 courses and perhaps a slightly shorter version of 10-12 courses; and also explain upfront the idea of having multiple starters in the lobby, before moving to the actual dinner room. The next time, I would probably also choose the non-alcoholic pairing instead because 8 wines was quite a lot for me since normally I am not much of a drinker. Besides it being a bit too long, I enjoyed our experience and would recommend it as a special dining experience in Tromsø.
