I was a little worried because someone mentioned the avocadotoast is a little small but well I don’t think so. Nice staff and delicious food. The city tromso has exactly zero vegan restaurants. it has however two vegetarian midday rooms (read: not open to dinner.) one of them is fro (with seeds in Nor... read more The city tromso has exactly zero vegan restaurants. it has however two vegetarian midday rooms (read: not open to dinner.) one of them is fro (with seeds in Norwegian:) in the city center, at the capital shopping street. the menu changes on the day and when I first visited (saturday) there were pancakes on the menu. the only choice was between blueberries, blueberries and other fruits, blueberries and vanilla. the personal assured me that the pancake cake was vegan, so I ordered the blueberries. the pancakes were fluffy, warm and tasty. the berries made them even better. However: pancakes are not food . regarding their nutritional value, they are "sweet, cookies or type of cake best. so I felt hungry less than 2 hours later. at my next visit I recommended to go the avocado sandwich. when I opened the box at the airport, I found writing it from the personal inside. so nice! the taste of the sandwiches was very good, but because of the box the cook could not present the meal as it was intended to be. Nevertheless, the lunch was infinitely better than any vegan airport lunch could ever be. thank you!
