I have heard many good recommendations for this restaurant, so we decided to try it for our end of the year at work. The service was very good and we enjoyed it otherwise, but I see a Michelin star level in gastronomic terms. La Chaumiere has an excellent location near the Saleve, with a large terrace. We ate in the wonderful indoor kitchen, which was thoughtfully arranged so that the tables are well separated. We enjoyed the six-course tasting menu, the two seafood-oriented dishes, beef, mushrooms (it is the season), cheese and dessert, next to a wine pairing. It was all very well presented and the wine pairing was appreciated because of its focus on Swiss wine. If I have criticism, it would be that the parts were too much! We hope for a return!

I started with the Ravioles de crabe, which was excellent and beautifully presented. I followed this with the Supreme de Volaille, which again was well presented and full of flavour. Good to have Serge back on the busy/overcrowded Geneva culinary scene. I can envisage returning soon.
Unser erster Besuch. Côte de beuf für 2 Personen bestellt. Ca 600 gr Fleisch bekommen in ausgezeichneter Qualität. Das Lokal ist sehr schön eingerichtet, hat auch ein Gartenrestaurant. Zuvorkommende Bedienung.
Serge and Els Labrosse are the perfect hosts for a perfect meal at a perfect location. From starter to mignardises everything is in detail! I love my family night at Chaumière.

This time all my supplements were oversalted to a degree that I had to leave them all on the plate after the attempt. I didn't want to cause a scene, so we didn't say anything, but fortunately I wasn't very hungry.
