I have seen this restaurant many times passing by and finally we made it for dinner. We arrived early and got some suggestions from the excellent maitre d'. Everything was above expectations and we left very happy indeed. Until next time!

This was my second time coming to La Valle, and I must say that it is my favorite restaurant in all of northern Italy. We allowed the Chef to choose our dishes and what we were having for each course. I highly recommend you do this. Everything is fantastic tasting and they always provide a nice description of the dish when they are brought to the table. Each dish almost seems better than the next, and to finish, you MUST order the gelato that is handmade table side with liquid nitrogen. Its a show and it tastes amazing. I have had a lot of gelato all over Italy, but this is HANDS DOWN the best gelato EVER! I will come back to La Valle each time I am in Torino.

The location is not very close to Torino, since it is on the outer side of the hills that coast eastwards the town and the river Po. Anyway, it is quite easy to reach, driving across the hills or from the southern circle motorway (Moncalieri). The small restaurant is along the country road between Trofarello and Pecetto in the village of Valle Sauglio, it is not very eye-catching from outside, there is a comfortable nearby parking. The ambience is cozy but elegant, the tables are well spaced. The food is mainly based on the local piedmontese tradition, cleverly reworked, with some glances to seafood. The quality is overall very high, the dishes are presented with taste and elegance. There is a considerable list of local, italian and international wines. A curiosity among the desserts is an instantly made ice-cream prepared by the table with liquid nitrogen. The prices are reasonably high but in proportion with the high level of the restaurant.

Excellent food in this cosy restaurant in the middle of nowhere. Service is friendly, plates served with style, sometimes even overdone. Quality is very good, wine too. Not cheap, let's say reasonably priced

In the surroundings of Turin, down from the hill on the Pecetto town side, you will find this restaurant listed among the best ot the area for some years already. Inside there is not much room, 4 5 tables no more, that is the right size to assure a good quality of service. On the menu different types of pasta, personalized versions of classical italian (and Piedmont dishes, meat and fish (fresh choice from everyday market . I was a little bit disappointed by the dessert. Maybe I'll need to have a second visit to retry... : the price is aligned with the category of the restaurant.
