A small take away and dine in restaurant in the small coastwatcher shopping centre this place is a hidden gem. There are only four tables for dine in so it is quite intimate and they accept bring your own alcohol. As there is a bottle store next door it is so convenient and the counter and waiting staff are courteous and friendly. The food is amazing and plentiful at a very reasonable price. What User doesn't like about Trinity Beach Thai Takeaway:
Bland, inauthentic thai. Spring roll wrappers too thick and did not taste like they were made in house. Pad thai did not use pad thai noodles and assortment of vegetables that shouldn't be there, sauce waaayy too sweet with little to no other flavour. Cheap but almost inedible. View all feedback.
Good food and we didn't have to wait too long, even though they were busy.
It's Great! I've had lots of meals over the past few years and they're all fresh and tastyThe cashew chicken and pad Thai are my favorite.
Decided to get takeout from here as other family members wanted pizza from next door and had never tried it. (we are local)We ordered the food from both places and i set off to collect dinner! On arrival i was greeted with a line of people ordering and one young lady to deal with the people in front of her and the telephone.(she was nice and from what i saw and also helpful)I waited patiently for around 10 minutes through phone orders and the line at the counter until I got to the front. Just a pick up for Steve i said and the food was brought out.Thats $14.50 said the girl at the counter.I duly dug into my wallet to produce my credit card to be told that there is $20 minimum charge to pay by card. (at no point was this pointed out when ordering)I asked the young lady to see if there was anything that could be done as i had no cash and was not happy to hand over an extra $5 for nothing. At this point the girl looked over to an older gentleman (and i use the term gentleman very loosely)and he reiterated that the $20 limit was to stand and if i did not like it i could leave.I am paraphrasing here as it was not so polite.I promptly left and went to Star of Siam in Clifton which our usual place anyway. If you are still reading this then you will see the real reasons for my review.1....He sat there the whole time whist the counter girl did all the work.2....He sat there and allowed paying customers food to go cold whilst they waited in line.3....He gets peoples hard earned money by imposing an unrealistic levy on card payments.I believe the current rate for Mastercard is around 0.8%. even AMEX is now only 1.5%At least Ned Kelly wore a mask!
The service was very friendly and welcoming. This place had some of the best Thai food around. Good for any visitor or local.
