Growlers - TRINITY BAY

We tried the blueberry flavour, jam jam flavour and the partridgeberry flavoured ice cream. Sooooo good!!! A definite stop while visiting Fogo Island!!

According to my friend the 'jam jam' ice cream was the best flavour of ice cream she had ever tasted. The partridgeberry must have run it a close second. Only slight drawback was the place was very busy and the person working there was less than cheery. However it was certainly worth the wait!

Delicious local ice cream! Flavours with traditional ingredients & and servings bigger than I expected.

We went after a long, hot hike on Lion's Den. It's very cute and tiny with homemade ice cream. I tried the partidgeberry tart ice cream and really enjoyed it. They had just run out of the strawberry rhubarb sorbet, which was sort of disappointing. On a hot day, try to get there early if you want your pick of flavor!
